Crow has been visiting me a lot.
For most people, crows are big, black carrion eaters with obnoxious voices.
But not for me.
According to my ‘Animal Speak book’, “Wherever crows are, there is magic. They are symbols of creation and spiritual strength. They remind us to look for opportunities to create and manifest the magic of life. They are messengers calling to us about the creation and magic that is alive within our world every day and available to us.”

When crows start following me, cawing at me, it’s a reminder.
I stop.
I focus on what is magical and wonderful in my life:
A tiny granddaughter’s hand in mine;
The joy in celebrating a client’s new client;
The bright yellow lemons on my lemon tree; or
The fact that I live in a country where I, a woman, can pursue my passion, make my own money, and have an impact on the world.
Everyday magic!
This is also a reminder that I am connected to Source. That the same everyday magic that results in fresh squeezed lemon on my veggies, can create the business results I want.
Crow reminds me that ‘magic’ is a direct result of me being an active part of creation. That I create everything in my life.
And so it is for you.
The key to creation is feeling.
To be successful, you must first feel successful.
I’ll give you an example. I’m great at networking. Many of my clients come to me through networking. I pretty much love networking.
But it wasn’t always so.
In 2001, I joined a networking group. I attended meetings in the evening, after work. I hated it. I hated mingling with people I didn’t know. I hated the time away from my daughter. I hated the pressure I put on myself to ‘find clients.’
And I had zero success.
Seriously, no one wanted to hire me.
Arggggg…..
Then I had a little chat with myself.
I decided if I was going to take time to attend, I was going to have fun.
The ultimate outcome was to find clients, and I was going to be happy doing it!
It was work to change my feeling about networking. The end result was a thriving business.
In those early days of my coaching practice, I unconsciously used everyday magic to create results. I thought magic was all about spells and wands. Today, I’m much more intentional.
To create magic, focus on what you most passionately want. Perfect clients, an impactful event, referral partners that you believe in.
Imagine what it will feel like when that happens. Really feel it.
Let your heart swell with the emotion of having the thing you want.
As that emotion fills you up, imagine it becoming a vibration. Send that vibration out into the world on a beam of light that attracts that which you desire.
Give thanks to your Higher Power, to Source, for this thing that is already yours.
And then, let it go. Get on with your day.
Every now and then, the emotion will creep up. Take a breath and feel it again. And do the next thing on your list, trusting that the magic spell is cast.
Share your take on making magic happen!
