We all know that being visible is essential to clients finding you and income flowing.

That if you stay hidden your business will wither on the vine.

And yet, the very notion of being “out there”, of being visible strikes fear in so many women’s hearts.

I invite you to check in… what are you feeling around visibility???

Fear? Anger? Powerless? Frustrated? Bitter?… uggh!

The fear, my darling, is not yours. It comes from generations of women being told to be quiet, to be nice, to be meek enough to make a good match. Outshine the men and no one will want you.

Women, up until very recent history, weren’t allowed to have money, to own land, to speak for themselves. They depended on men for their very existence.

Jobs were for the unlucky single women. Choices were nanny, nurse or whore.

I mean, seriously, is it any wonder we carry all of the weight of these wounds????

Today we are being called to release the chains of the past to let our light shine, to let our voices sing with truth.

To be visible….

So our right clients can find us.

So our divine mission can spread.

So our work can make a difference in the world.

So we can receive the money, respect and success that is our birthright…. yep… all of us rich, healthy and happy together!

And the thing is, it’s so much easier to do together. To do it with the support of your sisters. To be in community while breaking old bonds and old beliefs.

Last week, I found lots of opportunities to lean into my sisters. While I was dealing with a difficult family situation, one of my dearest, smartest sisters took over my group call and blessed them with her wisdom. I leaned into two of my sisters as mirrors to check my responses and to cushion my tender heart.

At the same time, the energy of my tribe, my business and my mission called me to raise my vibration, to touch nature, to dance with wild abandon. To be present within the bigger picture, even as I was present with my family in the immediate issue.

(** I am fine. We will all be ok. The story of this is not mine to tell, but I’m sure it will be told eventually. Then I will share. **)

Because I’m diligent about building a super supportive community, my business continued to grow, my clients were well served, and my family got the attention it needed.

What does all of this have to do with visibility?

Just this. It’s no longer enough to show up in pretty selfies on Instagram and to share great teachings (hmm, don’t you love pretty selfies on instragram?).

It is about being real, raw and vulnerable so that people can relate to you, grow to like and trust you, and in the right time buy – from you.

In telling you this story, I’m modeling how to be vulnerable… as well as sharing how important it is to have a community that supports you… especially when tackling something that can be as scary as visibility!

So let’s get visible! I invite you to join our amazing community for a Visibility Challenge during the second week of September.
