This weekend my 35 year old beloved sewing machine broke.
In the midst of a pandemic! In the middle of a big project I’m making for my daughter for Christmas. In the middle of….
Life.
After a short talk with my husband, we decided I should buy a replacement on Amazon.
When things open up, I’ll take the old machine to the shop and see if its worth fixing. I’ll use the new one to teach my little granddaughter to sew, then gift it to her at some point.
I’m under no illusions. I was able to solve my problem because I made a couple of sales this month and have money.
And it wasn’t always so for me.
Once, I was so poor I couldn’t afford a $20 pair of tennis shoes.
With so little resources, I had little choice. I had to wear the worn-out shoes with holes and save my pennies.
When I started my coaching practice in 2005, I knew that I wanted to help women make money, so they would always have viable options and choices.
