Last week was our 7th annual Grammy Camp.
This year consisted of 6 days, 4 grandkids, three amusement parks and two tired grandparents.
I’ve always loved Disneyland (the first park we visited). It was one of those go-to places from my childhood that I’ve never outgrown.
Between counting heads, dolling out Dole Whips and making sure everyone was having a good time, I really took a look at the magic behind the land.
The Imagineers are masters at creating a themed space. Color choices, plant placement and low, piped in music are all designed to create a certain mood.
As I looked beneath the physical, I started to see the energy running through the buildings. Lines of intention electrify the space magnetically drawing you from one experience to the next.
Walt Disney dreamt of a place where whole families could gather and have fun together. You can feel his love for his family, his imagination, his belief in the impossible running through everything. The imagineers who came after, carry this forward. (If you haven’t yet been to Star Wars land, it’s like being on a different planet.)
Where intention and love are so prevalent, magic happens. Disneyland continues to be a special place nearly 70 years after it opened, appealing to each new generation with the same awe and sense of wonder.
The magic that Walt Disney used to craft his vision into reality is something we can all tap into. It comes first of dreaming.
Start with dreaming if you are currently questioning what is next in your business..
What could be? What would feel amazing? What will feed your soul?
Allow yourself to really sink into this dream state imagining what more you can create. Don’t rush this part. Dreaming takes time and patience.
It is a muscle that witchpreneurs must grow in order to fully live their purpose.
As your dream begins to take shape, forming into a vision of your future reality, energy will build. You will feel it in your body, a fire ready to burst forth.
When you can no longer contain your energy, take action. Don’t worry about what your family might say, or how the neighbors will react. Let your fear of failure and fear of being seen take a vacation. Just do it.
Raise all the magic of your intention, feel the emotions of having, give up feeling small and powerless, take the next right step forward.. then the next… then the next… until you’ve done the thing that scared the sh*t out of you, that you barely dared whisper out loud, that makes your soul swell with power.
If an old guy from the middle of nowhere can build a world renown legacy, then you can live your dream.
