I recently posted a question in Facebook: What are the rules that society has taught you since you were born?
I thought it was an innocent enough question. But the answers hit me like a sucker punch to the gut…. WTF society?!
This included:
“Play well with others”
“Be nice”
“Do unto others”
As I read these, I felt the spells written into the words by those that would control and deny our power.
“Play well with others, little girl”. Learn the rules, and play the games that were designed to keep you in your place. Block your imagination, a portal to the Divine, because others might not like the games that Source channels through you. Just be good, and don’t rock the boat.
“Be nice, sweetie”. Hide your righteous anger, your wild magic, your Divine light. Those things make others uncomfortable. Those things call others out of their comfort zones. Temper yourself in service to others.
“Do unto others as you would have them do to you.” The you that asks for very little, hides your deepest desires, denies your own ability to manifest magic. Yes, treat others exactly like that and then wonder why we all feel so alone, lost and bitter.
Let’s change all those rules. Let’s dig them out of our psyche, burn them on a sacred fire, and declare ourselves FREE.
Let’s be our wild, witchy selves, creating opportunities for Money to flow through us and pleasure to light us up.
