Today is all about Heather.
When Heather attended our last Sex and Money Retreat last month, she was not a newbie. She was part of our 2022 Sex and Money retreat and has attended several other events.
At the first retreat, Heather was visibly uncomfortable in front of the camera.
I pulled her aside to ask what was happening.
“I have to get this right,” she told me. “This is my chance to get good photos.”
You see, some part of Heather was convinced she didn’t deserve this experience. She didn’t deserve to be seen and honored by the other women in attendance. She didn’t deserve to have one of the best photographers on the planet photographing her.
It was one of those one-in-a-lifetime experiences…. And she was blowing it.
And a funny thing happened. She pushed through. She felt all the emotions and kept going. She discovered that she wanted more adventures.
It changed how she showed up in her business. She took a stand for herself and other women in her male-dominated industry. It no longer felt hard to do. It was simply correct to do so. As a result, more work came to her.
When she was invited to join us again, she said yes. Amazing experiences are for repeating. Growth became her motto.
She came to a “Embody your Wounds” retreat and her Inner Warrior Goddess came out to play. She came to a Summer Solstice and flirted with the camera at the edge of a waterfall. She attended our “Ignite” retreat and uncovered a past life that didn’t like all this visibility.
Visibility is dangerous, it said. Visibility gets magic women burned at the stake or thrown in the river. She didn’t see this vow before, it was hidden so deeply.
Together we pulled the old vow of invisibility from her soul’s remembering and threw it into a sacred fire in the spirit realms. We felt it turn to ash and lose it’s power.
So, when Heather showed up for the Sex and Money retreat, she was full on ready to play. She used all the tools she learned, paused to connect to Mama Earth and then turned her sensual, magnetic power to the camera.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
The full power of this wild, witchy woman, only glimpsed before is mesmerizing. We were mesmerized.
As Heather continues to grow her business, she is bringing more and more of the Divine Feminine into this man’s world, simply by bringing more of herself into the light.
An example to all women, Heather is healing the world by owning her power.
